LongHorn Steakhouse Menu (https://longhornsteakhousemenu.us/) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users and contributors to do the same. This page outlines our policy regarding copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA) and explains how to submit a complaint or counter-notice.
1. Our Commitment to Copyright
We work to ensure that all content published on this Site is either original, properly licensed, or used under the principles of fair use for editorial, informational, and educational purposes. Trademarks, logos, and brand names referenced on the Site, including “LongHorn Steakhouse,” remain the property of their respective owners.
If you believe content on our Site has been used in a way that infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice in accordance with the procedure described below.
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material on our Site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice that includes all of the following information required by Section 512(c)(3) of the DMCA:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) or location(s) on our Site where the allegedly infringing material appears, with enough detail for us to locate the content.
- Your full contact information, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement made in good faith that you believe the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Where to Send Your Notice
Submit your DMCA notice via email:
📧 Email: contact@longhornsteakhousemenu.us Subject Line: DMCA Takedown Notice
Incomplete notices may not be processed. False or misrepresented claims may result in legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
3. What Happens Next
Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Review the notice for completeness and validity.
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, in most cases within a reasonable time period.
- Notify the content contributor or affected party (if applicable) that the material has been removed.
- Provide them with a copy of the notice so they may respond with a counter-notice if they choose.
We may also terminate access for users or contributors who are determined to be repeat infringers.
4. Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include the following per Section 512(g)(3) of the DMCA:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A clear description and location of the material that was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district (or, if outside the U.S., a U.S. federal court where the Site operator may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
Where to Send Your Counter-Notice
📧 Email: contact@longhornsteakhousemenu.us Subject Line: DMCA Counter-Notice
Once we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in 10 to 14 business days, unless the original complainant files a court action against the person posting the content.
5. Misuse of the DMCA Process
Submitting false or misleading claims is a serious matter. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
Please consult with a qualified attorney before filing a notice or counter-notice if you are unsure of your rights.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, the access of users or contributors who are deemed to be repeat infringers of copyright.
7. Fair Use Notice
Some content on this Site may include limited references to trademarks, names, images, or other materials owned by third parties. We rely on the principles of fair use under 17 U.S.C. § 107 for purposes such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, scholarship, and education.
If you are a rights holder and believe content on the Site goes beyond fair use, please contact us using the DMCA process outlined above, and we will review the matter promptly.
